The Album Is Complete! °Ü°

When we first decided, back in the fall of 2007, that this is what we wanted to do this year, I was excited... and scared. I had never designed pages for this many people before! To see all of the pages done is amazing. It's a total relief, but amazing! I think this will be a treasured keepsake for our families for years to come!

December's Scrapbook Pages

Well, this is it! December's pages are done and we have come to the end of our scrapbook classes for the year. Wow, time truly does fly by. It honestly seems like I was just stroking out creating January's pages and feeling completely overwhelmed by the year I had a head of me. This truly is the quite the accomplishment for me. I really didn't think I was going to be able to pull of the 156 kits I created this year. Amazing opportunity. I have learned SO much by doing this and I am very grateful to Marsh, Melissa, Candace, Holly, Vaunette, Lori, Cheryl, Tamra, Bethany, Kathy, Jody and Lisa for putting up with the madness this year! I love you all so much! ♥ You have made this so much fun for me. Even when I pushed you, you never complained and your pages always turned out amazing and always showing your individual personalities. Think about it, we are the only 13 people on earth to have the particular album. How great is that?

So, here they are, our Christmas pages:

I am pretty sure the term "Head Elf" came from this very Santa! Isn't he funny?

The presents pull out of the sleigh for journaling

Each of the pages have just the right number of stockings for each of the girl's family members. I still need to our family's names.

These reindeer crack me up!
Of course, I didn't forget Rudolph!
Ok, so don't forget the following:
  • Paper cutter
  • Glue dots
  • 3D pop dots
  • Chalks
  • Pen
  • Scotch Glue
  • Anything else you usually bring

See ya all on Thursday! °Ü°

November's Scrapbook Pages

That was a first! I did my class before getting the pictures posted. November was a crazy month for me. I feel like I am just catching my breath! °Ü°

To me, Thanksgiving is simple. It is truly my favorite holiday. Well, maybe it ties with Christmas. I just love the family getting together, no stress... usually. Anyways, I think that came through in these pages. After the Halloween pages, these were a walk in the park! Some of the girls were suprised by how easy they really were.

The paper is adorable and made by Piggy Tales. You should check them out. Their coordinating paper kits are adorable.

Anyways, these are November's pages:

Paper Piecings by Lisa Christmas Sale!

For those of you who love creative and gorgeous paper piecings (I'm talking about the ones where people see them and freak over how dang cute they are... yeah, those ones!) PaperPiecingsbyLisa is the place to go!

Right now she is running a Christmas Sale. $2.00 per pattern! That's a $1.50 in savings! She has added so many cute patterns AND she is now selling the most adorable handmade cards. You have got to see them! (Just click the links to go to the pages.)

She sells her pattens in JPEG and SVG formats. If there is another format you need, she can do it for you, just contact her. For those of you who do not know what SVG formatting is, well, it is the format that allows you to cut her patterns on your Cricut! How cool is that? All you need is the SCAL (Sure Cuts A Lot) Software. That, too, can be purchased from her home page.
Happy Piecing! °Ü°

Sugar & Spice Scrapbook Album with Recipe Holders

My good friend, Lisa, is the best cook! She loves cooking and sharing her family recipes. Her birthday is Friday and I wanted to give her something she would appreciate. I saw this and said, "That's Lisa!" I had so much fun making it. I have always wanted to make one of these BoBunny albums and starting out with a small one was perfect!

I love that it holds photos as well as recipes, too. The back three pages are actually paper bags cut to fit height wise. Her recipes will slide easily down into each pocket. What a great gift for posterity's sake! You have no idea how many family recipes perished when my mom's home burned in 2005. Some she can remember right off the top of her head, others are just gone. I wished I had put together one of these for me years ago. Well, on the up-side, there is today and I can start from right here. °Ü°

Happy Birthday, Lisa! Can't wait to see it with your pics and recipes!
